David Jones

Yoga found David as a means of therapy, recommended by his doctor to deal with his corporate world job. For years he has always been drawn to the practice; stopping in the fitness departments of stores, he would find himself picking up yoga blocks, mats and other accessories, feeling a bond, but not knowing how to begin.   After attending two classes at a yoga studio, he was hooked and knew he had to share his passion through teaching. That dream became reality when he completed the YTT 200 hour program at LifePower Yoga powered by Lifetime Fitness. Yoga became the perfect complement to his passion for performing. With a BFA in Theatre Performance, David has found himself more grounded and focused when acting, singing and dancing on stage. Other passions include his two miniature dachshunds and Siamese cats and his spiritual community. The practice of yoga and meditation has allowed him the strength to leave the corporate world and pursue a life of healing and spiritual teachings. With a passion for yin, restorative and visualization meditation, he strives to create a sacred space where practitioners feel comfortable exploring their personal edge, allowing them to get the most out of their practice; inspiring others to be their best at their present time in life.
